Evaluating magazines
When making my own magazine cover it is good to research what other magazines use on their cover to see if I get any inspiration and analysing each factor helps me to show my knowledge and give my own opinion - that is what I have done here in this slide show of magazine's covers I liked and are all music magazines ofcourse because they fit in within the brief given!
Here I chose contents pages from music magazines I liked and inspire to somewhat recreate for my own magazine and I analysed each element of them - what I liked, why it is done, the good, the bad etc.
These are all examples of double spreads I like and want to recreate for my own magazine, as you can see they are very indie looking, which is exactly the theme I am going for so it fits in perfectly. I have analysed the elements I like of each one and why they work, don't work etc
