I carried out a survey within my school to both Males and Females to ask questions about festivals and festival magazines to help me with my own magazine. It provided me with valuable information - age groups to consider, the type of music, along with what the content should be about. I used a program called Survey Monkey as it is quick, easy and can be edited along with transfering the information into things like pie charts and to top it all off it is all online which is great!

Above here are Pie Charts of the results for each of my questions from my first survey - I believe using pie charts to present my work is very good visually and is easy to understand and see results compared with each other! It also helps me as a the creator to analyse the results in a way I understand as well and can translate into my work.
Finding out these results will help with things to add in my magazine along with itentifying my target audience and type of magazine. I have overlooked what was found out and I have now decided I will definately do a festival music magazine, I will incorporate different music:
-electronic
-dubstep
-indie
-basically anything and everything
I must at a social aspect to it:
-imagery
-social networks: facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr
I will have to include only outdoor festivals and will need lots of information on each festival:
-lineup
-map
-discount coupons
-merchandise.
Along with all of this it must be targeted at 16-30 year olds!
