Here I have created a mind map for my final magazine as it is a clear way to set it out, I have chosen my genre - Festivals and Festival Music, along with knowing how I want my cover, contents page and interview. My magazine is about different types of music - Indie, Mainstream, Dubstep, Alternative, Rap etc however it leans more towards the style of an Indie magazine - ID Magazine is my inspiration, along with Notion which has quite an underground/street feel.

 

Now that I know my ideas of what I want my outcome to be I need to start researching different elements of the magazine - mastheads, typography, target groups, take pictures, interviews etc. Along with then completing the brief - a cover, contents and double page spread - I will have to take lots of images for both my cover and double page spread so I have options and can get the best outcome, in addition I want to add a video of the 'behind the scenes' of creating the content and I will have to choose someone to interview and record that. I have decided upon a title - FEST however I will have to start experimenting and then completing my own masthead making sure it is original and fits the magazine.
